The Beard is Done
So after thinking yesterday afternoon that the beard was staying, the itching started last night. I couldn't take it anymore, and I shaved before I went to sleep. I could see how irritated my skin was underneath my beard. I apparently have sensitive skin, and it had just had enough of being poked by my beard.
While I was curious to see what I looked like with a full beard, my face feels so much better this morning now that I've shaved. And the itching has stopped. Ugh, the itching.
Well, I need to run and do some final things so we can be on our way. The next post will be from Louisiana.

I think it has to go...
I think I'm going to have to shave the beard. I just can't deal with the itchiness. It's driving me crazy. I really wanted to hold out, but I've never been a fan of being itchy.

Thursday Thoughts
Read an interesting article today about why Deuce McAllister is much more than just a good running back. Sounds like an all around nice and smart guy.
Still enjoying the French press Carrie gave me. I can make the perfect size cup of coffee for me to take with me on my bus ride to school.
Virtual man night returned with a vengeance last night as Richard, Chad, Jerry and I played WoW from three different geographical locations. We're still working on the iRichard hologram projector though.
So I'm growing a beard until I submit my proposal. Nothing motivates you like having an itchy face.
JaMarcus is going to the NFL. I think everybody saw that coming, and I think it's the right move. I mean, after that Notre Dame game the guys stock is super high. He doesn't want to be a Matt Leinart. (And by that I mean not that he doesn't want to be a total tool shed, but that he doesn't want to come back for his senior year and have his draft worth drop. Though he probably doesn't want to be a tool shed either.)
I'm glad the iPhone started such interesting discussion. :)
