Might as well blog…
I am sitting at the Starbucks as today was a strange sequence of events. The people came to clean our house so I can’t stay there, UT is on lockdown because of some crazy with a gun, and I decided not to bring my laptop home.
I am very glad I wasn’t there for any of the craziness. I am even more glad that nobody got hurt. No university needs multiple massive shooting incidents in their history.
I do get to go have lunch with my lovely wife, Carrie, now so that’s an unexpected bonus for the day. I will probably go for a ride later to take advantage of the still fantastic weather. Even though it’s going to get into the 80s today, the humidity is noticeably lower than it was this weekend.
I wish the tumblr app supported the sideways keyboard.
There seem to be several other people at this ‘bucks in a similar situation as me. There are so many students, but when you also think about the staff and faculty there are a lot of people on the 40 acres every day.
What an odd Tuesday…
